Request for Proposals (RFP) – Facilitators for the Uncharted Cruise Experience

Uncharted: The Profound Impact Cruise is seeking dynamic, equity-centered educators, coaches, and thought leaders to facilitate powerful learning experiences as part of our 2026 conference at sea. This one-of-a-kind event combines wellness, professional development, and community in a transformative journey for educators nationwide.

Event Dates:

  • Pre-cruise conference kickoff: July 19, 2026 (Miami, FL)

  • Cruise dates: July 20–24, 2026 (aboard Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas)

What We’re Looking For:
We are inviting proposals for interactive, engaging, and wellness-informed sessions aligned with one of our four core tracks:

  1. The Love Track: Healing as resistance through identity, joy, and self-care

  2. The Power Track: Leading from within and growing your leadership impact

  3. The Resistance Track : Disrupting systems through organizing and policy

  4. The Legacy Track: Cultivating your long-term vision and community impact

Sessions should reflect a balance of expertise, relatability, and creativity, with an emphasis on educator wellness, culturally responsive practices, and building collective joy.

Ideal Facilitators:

  • Experienced educators, leaders, or practitioners rooted in equity and liberation

  • Strong facilitators of adult learning who can create inclusive and engaging spaces

  • Comfortable presenting in both formal and informal environments (on land and at sea)

  • Available to participate in both the Miami kickoff and cruise-based programming

Compensation & Support
Selected facilitators will receive an all-inclusive conference and cruise package valued at over $1,800, which includes:

  • A complimentary 5-day cruise ticket aboard Wonder of the Seas, with shared stateroom accommodations

  • A Wi-Fi package to stay connected throughout the cruise

  • All meals and onboard activities included during the cruise

  • One-night hotel stay at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay for the pre-cruise conference kickoff on July 19, 2026

  • Full access to all Uncharted conference sessions, events, and wellness experiences

  • A special facilitator gift package curated to celebrate your impact and presence

Please note: Transportation to and from Miami, including airfare, ground transportation, and baggage fees, is the financial responsibility of the facilitator or their sponsoring organization.

Complete the facilitator proposal form by July 10, 2025. You’ll be asked to submit:

  • A short bio and professional background

  • A session title and description

  • Your chosen track and how your session aligns with it

  • A brief outline of your facilitation approach
